Collection and return
Bring your order confirmation when collecting. Photo ID may be requested before handover. Standard online hires are collected from and returned to our W9 shop. Future-date hires, extensions, delivery and return collection may be available by prior arrangement before booking. Extensions must be agreed before the return deadline.
Safe use
- Use only if competent to carry out the intended test.
- Inspect the meter, screen, selector switch, input sockets and test leads before use.
- Select the correct function/range and use the correct input socket before measuring voltage or current.
- Do not use damaged leads, cracked casing, loose sockets or exposed conductors.
- Do not rely on this meter as the only means of proving dead on fixed electrical installations.
- Stop use immediately if readings are unstable, the meter is damaged or the test setup is unsafe.
Return checks and charges
Returned equipment is inspected before deposits are finalised. Charges may apply for late return, missing supplied items, damage beyond fair wear and tear, excessive cleaning, loss, theft or non-return.
