Hire a Duratool D01870 cable access kit for feeding, routing and retrieving cables through ceiling voids, floor spaces, trunking and wall cavities. The 10m fibreglass rod set is useful for electrical, AV, datacom, security and general cable-management jobs.

All rods and accessories are counted at handover and must be returned together. Packaging/listing descriptions for this kit may vary between 12-piece and 13-piece depending on whether the storage tube/case is counted.
Collection and return
Bring your order confirmation when collecting. Photo ID may be requested before handover. Standard online hires are collected from and returned to our W9 shop. Future-date hires, extensions, delivery and return collection may be available by prior arrangement before booking. Extensions must be agreed before the return deadline.
Safe use
- Do not use on or near live electrical conductors.
- Inspect rods, threaded ends, hook and flexible connector before use.
- Do not force rods around tight bends or through unknown obstructions.
- Feed and retrieve rods carefully to avoid splintering, snapping or leaving sections behind.
- Use eye protection where there is a risk of falling debris, dust or cable movement.
- Return all rods, accessories and the storage tube/case together.
Return checks and charges
Returned equipment is inspected before deposits are finalised. Charges may apply for late return, missing supplied items, damage beyond fair wear and tear, excessive cleaning, loss, theft or non-return.
Charges may apply for missing rods, missing hook or connector, cracked/splintered rods, damaged threaded ends, contamination, damaged storage tube/case or non-return.
